Eyes Closed Concert Tour: Where Music and Spirituality Unite

Eyes Closed formulation underway 2023-24, to be toured 2025

A non-visual ‘dark’ auditory musical awakening experience, which will be toured throughout the UK. An ensemble formulated solely of musician-meditators will perform by feel in darkness to create a pure sonic audience experience with the purpose of taking holding the audience on an inward journey.

Formed from professional musician-meditators from around Europe, the experience will facilitate the speaking of the music to the heart of who and what we really are, allowing audiences to touch a certain resonance of Peace, Love and Openness; the place from which musicians themselves play, and have been playing from all of their lives.

The experience will take listeners into a softer, lighter way of Being which is most easily accessed in the absence of vision, a place of greater awareness which has perhaps only been fleetingly glimpsed before now.

An opportunity for non-musicians to share and bask in the felt experience of great Joy, Fulfilment and Oneness felt in performance. With a focus on non virtuosic minimalist repertoire infused with a deep spiritual understanding, the experience will feature mostly the works of modern 20^th-21^st century composers such as Richter, Einaudi, Pärt and Arnalds.
